In a surprising move, INEC postponed collation till 7.00am, this morning .
There is now suspicion by the opposition party that INEC are working with the APC officials in collaboration with the security agencies to subvert the wishes of the people.
The PDP wonders why INEC will tell people to come back at 7am for collation when it is usually done all through the night and results announced the following morning.
“Governor Oshiomhole in his first and second term election was a beneficiary of this unhindered process of results collation. Why is this case different? It is now evidently clear that Governor Oshiomhole and his puppet candidate have lost virtually all the Local government in Edo State and he is trying so hard to change them.” A PDP stalwart told Urhokpota Reporters on condition of anonymity.
In Orhionmwon, the Deputy Governor upon hearing that he was loosing in his ward in Uhronigbe North, he quickly moved his boys there and they carted away with results sheets and later brought the results to the ward collation centre and was declared winner.
In Akpato ward where PDP clearly won, INEC official in connivance with the police disappeared with result sheets only to come back with a different result.
An attempt by PDP agent, Lady Uwa Osunbor, to protest the result, showing them their units results and how thy won was met with arrest. Her freedom has now been taken away by locking her up in a Hilux.
The PDP complained that the plan of the APC is to declare fake results by this morning with APC winning Orhionmwon, Ovia North East, Ovia South West, Ikpoba-Okha, Oredo, Owan East and West, Akoko-Edo, Etsako West and East as well as Central.
“In a nutshell, they intend to declare that they have won all the LGS in Edo South senatorial districts as well as Edo North. If this happens as they have planned, they will be declared winner and Godwin Obaseki returned elected. God Forbid!!! ” The PDP stalwart said.
