Despite criticisms over the planned national protests organized by 2Face Idibia and fears that the police would be on ground to prevent the protests, musician 2Face Idibia has called on Nigerians to join in on the protest on Monday, February 6th.
In a video posted on Instagram, 2Baba thanked Nigerians for their support and criticisms while insisting the protest will hold on the planned day.
Prior to the video, 2Face also released details of the protest venue.
Some other musicians have also lended their voices on the proposed protests. Notable among them is Blackface who criticized 2Face for the planned protests, Ruggedman who chastised Blackface over his comments and Femi Kuti who was earlier reported to have criticized the planned protests before later declaring support. Burnaboy and Davido also showed their support for the planned protests. Will you join 2Baba in protesting against the Nigerian government on the said day?
