Investigations by Our Sources Have revealed conclusively that Nigeria President, Muhammad Buhari, was or is being treated at a hospital in the United Kingdom called Princess Grace Hospital, in Marylebone, London.
Our sources Who spoke to Mrs Sally, receptionist at the hospital, to make inquiry about one of their patients by the name of Mr Buhari today, the receptionist referred our source to the Nigerian High Commission or their Press Office.
The trick however was that our sources did not inform the receptionist that she was asking after the Nigerian president but simply Mr Buhari.
It becomes suspicious why the Receptionist referred our source to Nigerian High Commission and not Malian, Chadian or Guinean high commissions.
When pressed further for more disclosure, the receptionist said that “due to patients confidentiality”, she can not reveal detail about anyone admitted to their hospital.
Now it clicked.
Our question did not say we were asking about a Nigerian let alone Nigerian President but the English receptionist, who is supposedly well trained in answering technical questions, advised our Source to contact Nigerian Embassy.
This leads this newspaper to believe that President Buhari is or was there.
In any case, illness is natural but the government should learn to tell the truth about their leaders state of health and also learn to develop the capacity of our local hospitals so that our president shall not be at the mercy of indiscreet foreigners.
The Princess Grace Hospital is an acute private hospital based in Marylebone, London. It is part of the international division of HCA (Hospital Corporation of America), which is the world’s largest private healthcare company.
The Princess Grace Hospital, located on 42-52 Nottingham Pl, Marylebone, London W1UP, was opened in 1977 by Princess Grace of Monaco.
To date, the hospital has been the first UK hospital in the private sector to provide many new medical technologies including “HiFu” for prostate cancer, which uses high frequency ultrasound waves to heat and destroy cancer cells in the prostate.
