Lesnar began the blockbuster battle with a trifecta of Germans before Goldberg hit back with a string of spears, which ended in them both crashing through the barricade.
The pair eventually recovered and returned to the ring where they continued their war in the ring.
The two stars gave each other everything they had in the tank as Lesnar showed great athleticism to dodge a spear by leaping over it.
After more F5s connected Goldberg finally fell and was pinned as he handed over his title.
