For 16 years registered partnerships for same-sex couples are possible

Because the SPD is afraid of the anger with the Union, a bill on the revaluation of same-sex partnerships does not come to a vote. Now the Federal Constitutional Court is to open the way.

It is an ellenhoher file stack, the Green-Bundestag delegate Volker Beck personally in the Federal Constitutional Court in Karlsruhe carried. He has submitted an Organklage, which is to ensure that the law projects on homo-marriage finally go on.Beck and his faction want to force over the Supreme Court that the draft laws for the abolition of the marriage ban for same-sex couples come on the agenda of the Bundestag. "The basic law is clear and clear: the Bundestag has to discuss the proposals within a reasonable time and to take a decision," says Beck decisively. He is convinced that   a majority of the citizens support the "marriage for all".
