Outgoing governor of Edo State, Mr Adams Oshiomhole, has met with APC caucus and resolved to commence plans to falsely accuse PDP state, local government, ward and unit leaders and detain them on thrumped up charges until after the election.
In a meeting held yesterday 5th of September 2016 at about 7pm inside Edo State Government House at Osadebey Avenue, Benin City, with APC state Caucus leaders, a meeting which lasted from 7.00pm- 9.25pm, the APC caucus reviewed the list of the 10 PDP top leaders in each LGA in Edo State and marked them for false imprisonment commencing on Wednesday.
At the meeting, it was resolved that effect from Wednesday 7th September 2016, the 10 key persons of PDP in each LGA will be arrested and detained till Sunday evening after the Saturday September 10th election.
The PDP said they are sounding a note of warning to the security operatives in the state to avoid whatever is capable of throwing the state into a state of very serious crises.
“We hereby call on international community, Nigeria security agency to raise up and stop the evil plans of APC in Edo State in a bid to hijacked and rig Saturday election. We will resist the APC all the way. We are keeping our strategy to ourselves.” Hon Tony Osazuwa, former Vice Chairman of Orhionmwon LGA said.
