Oshiomhole panics at impending defeat at the polls, writes INEC and FGN pleading for postponement of the Edo gubernatorial election from September 10 2016 to another date.

In the letter which was delivered by hand to the Presidency and to INEC headquarters in Abuja, the governor pleaded with the presidency and the INEC to shift the polls because it clashed with the date of the General Certificate of Education (GCE).

The PDP has said that on no account must the election be postponed.

“This election must not be postponed for any reason whatsoever. We will resist any attempt to disrupt the fragile peace and security in the state. We are in a hurry to evacuate the APC” Hon Tony Osazuwa of the PDP said.
